On several occasions he has also sent us messages: we propose the one for the third edition, in which he told us a beautiful testimony on the importance of technology in the daily life of the disabled. Always keeping in mind the different legislative aspects that regulate accessibility.<\/p>\n\t<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/04\/workshop-2x.png\" alt=\"Laboratories\" width=\"54\" height=\"60\" \/><\/h4>\n<h4>Labs<\/h4>\n<p>There will be workshops where we can do practical activities to understand how to best create Web sites, apps or electronic devices, with the support of experts in various technologies and with the opportunity to confront with disabled users, to understand whether they are really accessible.<\/p>\n\t<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/04\/makers-2x.png\" alt=\"Maker\" width=\"52\" height=\"60\" \/><\/h4>\n<h4>The Maker Angle<\/h4>\n<p>Developers and designers play a key role in improving the quality of life of people with disabilities, as they are the makers, with their creations! We have tools that make possible things that were deemed unthinkable until just a few years ago: There are electronic cards available to everyone, sensors, or 3D printers, just to name a few. In this corner we will give free rein to the imagination, to experiment how to use these tools to create a more &#8220;accessible&#8221; world.<\/p>\n\t<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/04\/audiogame-2x.png\" alt=\"Audio-Game\" width=\"45\" height=\"60\" \/><\/h4>\n<h4>Audio-Game Station<\/h4>\n<p>In the last edition we already talked about audio-games, entertainment products that can also be enjoyed by people with visual disabilities. This year we will have the opportunity to play and try them personally in a location used for this purpose. It will be very interesting to understand how situations that we would normally imagine with a strong visual component, such as a duel between virtual enemies, can be reinterpreted by doing it without the sense of sight.<\/p>\n\t<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/04\/museotattile-2x.png\" alt=\"Touch\" width=\"41\" height=\"60\" \/><\/h4>\n<h4>Visit to the Louis Braille Museum<\/h4>\nThe Istituto dei Ciechi in Milan has set up a unique museum of its kind that collects tools, special machines, printed books for the blind and typhloidactic materials that testify to the transformation that took place in the school of the Institute, from the use of visual writing in relief to the one in Braille code.<br \/>\nThe museum not only allows you to retrace the history of writing methods for the blind but to accompany the visitor on an enthralling journey due to the extraordinary emotional strength that the exhibited objects still manage to communicate and transmit today.\n\t<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/04\/cenalbuio-2x.png\" alt=\"Dinner\" width=\"60\" height=\"60\" \/><\/h4>\n<h4>Aperitif \/ dinner in the Dark<\/h4>\nOne of the experiences that will allow us to better understand what it means to live without the sense of sight will be the Aperitif\/dinner in the Dark: we will eat in a room made completely dark, served by waiters who are themselves blind!<br \/>\nIt will be a fun and exciting experience at the same time, that will make us understand how, by renouncing by force of things to the sight, our relationship with the environment and food changes completely: we will be struggling even to recognize what we are eating, as long as we are able to find the food on the table!\n\t<h4><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2019\/04\/musica-2x.png\" alt=\"Music\" width=\"73\" height=\"60\" \/><\/h4>\n<h4>Round Table: Accessible Music<\/h4>\n<p>During the last day on Saturday we will be organizing a roundtable where we will talk about the current situation regarding accessibility of software for the creation of music. Such an event requires a lot of expenses, especially if you want to ensure that the participants can have the\u00a0<strong>best possible experience (obviously also in terms of accessibility!)<\/strong>, and despite the support of the many volunteers who help us, for some services we must turn to professionals, due to the responsibilities that these tasks require.<\/p>\n<p>To give you an idea of \u200b\u200bthe costs, we have made public the event budget, that you can find in the list below.
